Welcome to the Xiaomi 15 Review
Friends, I am bringing you this review after using it for almost one and a half months. Really, the whole trend now is for compact phones, like the iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 Plus, or the Samsung S24. All of these have screens of around 6.3 inches. So the public is also showing more interest in these things these days.
Why People Love Compact Phones
The reason is that it is very handy and comfortable in the hand, and most importantly, its ergonomics make it very, very comfortable and easy to carry. These were very trendy at one time. The reason it’s becoming a trend again now is that in compact phones, once upon a time, if we didn’t have a display, we had to compromise on the battery.
New Features in Compact Phones
But with compact phones like the ones available now, you don’t have to compromise on price. Displays with 1.5k resolution. Also, batteries with 5,500 and 6,000 mAh are also coming out, so not only are these becoming a current boom, but there’s no need to buy a light just because it’s compact.
What Powers the Xiaomi 15
In terms of performance, the same processors are used in these as in flagship-level processors. So in today’s article, let’s take a look at a detailed review of Xiaomi’s recently launched Xiaomi 15.
Pro’s of Xiaomi 15 Design and Comfort
First let’s talk about the pros. As I told you, the main reason why many people like these phones, and I personally like them a lot, is that they are compact and fit very comfortably in the palm of your hand. It is very simple and easy to carry. So when it arrives, you’ll get just 8.08 mm thickness and 196 g. So first of all, we definitely have to pay attention to its design, in-hand feel, and weight distribution. So, especially those who like compact phones will like this one very much.
Pro’s of Xiaomi 15 Awesome Display
Now that the second Pro is here, we definitely need to talk about its display. It uses a 1.5k resolution LTPO panel measuring 6.36 x 36 inches. It varies from 1 ha to 120 ha. The ltpio panel was used. In addition to 10-bit HD, you can also enjoy Dolby Vision content on Amazon and other similar platforms. Witch is good. Even this is not enough, the video alone is good enough.

Pro’s of Xiaomi 15 Great Sound
The audio should also be good, so we’ve been given dual stereo speakers as well as Dolby Atmos Audio High Res Audio wired and wireless features. They tell many stories, they have crossed eras, they have fought wars, and if you want to say it overall in love, you need a compact phone, but if you don’t want to compromise on display quality, the content I watch, or the audio, then you can definitely say that this will fulfill all your content needs. Which is amazing, but you don’t have a 3.5 audio jack on it. You will have to rely on Typos.
Pro’s of Xiaomi 15 Strong Performance
Now, if we come to another pro helmet, we can definitely say that its performance is not as good as compact phones, but it is not because they have compromised on performance. In this, we have the flagship processor, the 8T processor, the same top-notch processor that is now used in this. It supports LPDDR5x technology along with UFS 4.0 0 RAM for mesmerizing performance without any hangs, even if you want to play pro-level gaming.
But it’s getting warm for you, just a little. You can enjoy games at high frame rates. Even its YT benchmarks course is about 2 million plus, but it has provided us with proper stable performance without any hangs or lags. Be it gaming or day-to-day life tasking or content creation, whatever it is, you can do it, as long as it outputs properly without any lag or hang-ups.
Pro’s of Xiaomi 15 Cool Cameras
Coming to another pro element, we definitely have to talk about its cameras. These came to us through the collaboration between Leica Optics and our fellow Leica photographers. So, even if it’s a compact phone, you can capture beautiful pictures with your phone and use its features and filters to get a variety of outputs. Which is amazing in another segment and of course they haven’t compromised anywhere in the video format either. You can record videos in 4K at 60 fps on both the rear and front. Of course, you can record videos up to 8k through the rear camera. And you can also use that 4K HD content. What an amazing future.
Con’s of 15 Battery Life
So these are the pros of friends, but no phone is perfect, no one is perfect, and there are some cons to it too. So, coming to the first con, we definitely need to talk about its battery. We are provided with 5,240 mAh in this. It supports 90W off-wire fast charging technology. Supports 50W wireless charging technology. And it also supports 10W of reverse wireless charging technology.
If you are a heavy user, you should charge it compulsorily from 7 to 8 pm. If your day starts around 8:00 AM and screen-on time is approximately 7 1/2 to 8 hours, you will get approximately 7 1/2 to 8 hours of battery life. Of course, we can’t expect much more from a compact phone. But with all these silicon carbon technology batteries coming out today and tomorrow, I think it would have been better if the battery capacity had not been increased, but rather if the existing battery had been optimized for performance.
Con’s of Xiaomi 15 Software Problems
Now that we’ve come to another con, it’s imperative to talk about the UI it has. Of course, I recently brought this output to us with Hyper UI 2.0, which is related to them. But I have observed that in some cases it lags, in some cases it hangs, and some features do not support me properly when I use them. All these features are features I have observed in it. So, just as they are concentrating on design and hardware, they are also the best in terms of software, that is, in terms of features and customization. But I think it would have been better if the operating system optimization, whatever it is, had been brought in more properly.
Con’s of Xiaomi Camera Could Be Better
Now, if we’re talking about another con, we should talk about it in the camera department. Actually, the camera is good, but maybe they will resolve all of this in a future update.
Should You Buy It?
So overall, you can buy this within that budget. Actually, the base variant will cost you somewhere around ₹65,000. If you’re wondering if you can purchase this within that budget, I’d say yes, but if you want a display as a priority, compactness, and top-notch protection level, then I’d say it’s decent, even with cameras. And apart from these, it also has common features like 5G support, WiFi Alien 7, IR blaster, NFC, and an optical fingerprint scanner as well as A-based face unlock.
There are no problems with wired and wireless features, even if it’s a compact phone, I’d still wait for it to arrive as of now. Because these days, the majority of mobile phone manufacturers have also switched to compact phones, as we recently had the Samsung S25. So wait a few days. There is a possibility that more phones will come to the market.
